How are the trip participants decided?
If your community raises $30,000 or more during the campaign, you will be invited to join an exclusive, all-expenses-covered impact trip to Uganda. Raise $60,000+, and you’ll receive a second invite to bring a guest.
You’ll travel with our team to see the impact up close, document powerful stories, and experience the beauty and wonder of Uganda—all as part of our mission to inspire generosity and create content that moves people.
Do people have to download the Glow app to give?
Nope. No app needed, no friction.
Each creator gets a unique link and QR code to share—your fans just click, choose how much they want to give, and donate. Two clicks. Done. Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit card. Easy, fast, and mobile-friendly. After giving, we encourage donors to download the app so they can keep updated with the giveaways, project updates, leaderboards, and all the action.
What’s included in the impact trip?
Top creators will be invited to join an exclusive, all-expenses-covered mission trip to Uganda for one or two people. The experience includes:
Round-trip economy airfare
Ground transportation
Accommodations and meals
Basic medical and emergency assistance insurance
(Upgrades, spending money, and personal extras not included.)
You’ll travel with the Glow team to visit refugee and host communities, experience War Child’s life-changing work firsthand, and capture the real stories behind your community’s impact. Along the way, you’ll explore the beauty and wonder of Uganda—including an unforgettable safari—while staying in authentic, locally run accommodations with expert guides and full logistical support.

What are GLOW’s fees?
GLOW takes a flat 10% fee from each donation to cover campaign setup, promotions, governance, tax receipting, compliance, and making sure every dollar does the most good. A further 10% is set aside for stortelling and facilitating the impact trips. The remaining 80% goes straight to the cause.
How long does the campaign run?
Each Creator Challenge runs for one month. You’ve got 30 days to rally your community, raise the most, and go all in.
How does Glow achieve 35% donation efficiency compared to direct giving?
Many well-run nonprofits typically spend between 10-20% on fundraising initiatives and another 15-20% on administration costs. This means that when you give directly to some nonprofits, only 50-75% of your donation may directly benefit the intended projects. Glow simplifies the fundraising process and significantly reduces administrative burdens for these nonprofits. By doing so, we enhance the efficiency, ensuring that a larger portion of your donation goes straight to the cause, leading to an overall increase in donation efficiency by up to 35% compared to traditional methods.
Can people give monthly?

A 10% fee sounds like a lot... please explain?

Can I keep going after the campaign ends?
Absolutely. Once your GLOW community is live, it’s yours to grow. It’s like having your own personal foundation—without the paperwork. You can fund future causes, launch more campaigns, and keep your community giving long-term.
What causes can I support?
For this campaign, we’ve partnered with War Child USA to support refugee children and families and the communities they live with. All projects are pre-vetted and high-impact. And if you continue with GLOW after the campaign, you can choose to continue to support War Child USA, other projects, or even pitch your own.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, donations are tax-deductible in the USA to the full extent of the law. The Glow Foundation is a nonprofit corporation with IRS Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status - EIN 27-4252335.
If you live outside the US, please talk to your financial or tax advisor for details on tax-deductibility.
Can brands sponsor me or my campaign?
Definitely. We love brand collabs.
You can bring sponsors on board to match donations, fund rewards, or help spread the word. GLOW makes it easy to integrate brand support into your campaign. It can even be tax deductible for them!
How secure is my donation and personal information on Glow?
Your security is paramount to us. We use industry-leading encryption and security measures to ensure that your donation and personal information are protected at all times.
Where did the name Glow come from?
We believe that when giving is delightful for the donor, the feeling you get from being generous should make you happy. Glow is that feeling! We believe everyone deserves to glow from the inside when they’re being generous.
