To use Glow, you must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU) and able to form a binding contract under applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
Use of the Glow App and Website
You agree to use Glow only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not:
1. Reverse engineer, copy, or modify any part of Glow or its software.
2. Interfere with or disrupt servers or networks connected to Glow.
3. Use Glow to transmit spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising.
4. Harvest user data without consent.
5. Post harassing, obscene, fraudulent, or unlawful material.
6. Use automation tools or bots to interact with Glow.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination.
Donations and Payments
All donations made through Glow are processed by our payment processors (Stripe/Paypal) and are final and non-refundable, except as required by law.
Donations are received and granted by The Glow Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Donors will receive tax-deductible receipts where applicable.
A standard 10 percent platform fee is applied to each transaction to support governance, compliance, and technical operations.
User Generated Content
Users retain ownership of content they upload or submit through Glow but grant Superglow a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with Glow’s operation and promotion.
You represent that you own or have the right to post such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights. Glow may remove content that violates these Terms or our community standards.
Community and Admin Terms
The following sections apply specifically to Admins who create or manage Glow Communities.
Governance of Funds
All donations are legally held by The Glow Foundation, which retains exclusive control over grant-making and distribution to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits and causes that advance human flourishing.
Eligible Causes and Reallocation
Funds may not support political campaigns, terrorism, or hate-based activities. If a Community is closed or terminated, remaining funds will be redirected by The Glow Foundation to similar charitable purposes aligned with the original mission.
Admin Responsibilities
Admins must:
• Promote their Community authentically and in good faith.
• Fulfill any perks or rewards promised to members.
• Comply with FTC endorsement and charitable solicitation rules.
• Avoid false or misleading statements.
Data and Privacy
Admins may access limited donor data (names, emails, amounts) solely for community management. Superglow does not sell donor data and uses aggregate data only to improve the platform.
Compliance and Termination
Admins must uphold Glow’s ethical standards. A three-strike policy applies: two warnings before permanent termination. Upon termination, remaining funds will be granted by The Glow Foundation to aligned charitable purposes.
Legacy and Death Clause
If an Admin dies or becomes incapacitated, The Glow Foundation will continue to manage the Community Fund consistent with its original mission. The Admin’s family or representative may provide input on future direction.
Prohibited Use and Compliance
You agree not to use Glow to raise or collect funds for any of the following purposes:
- Adult content, sexual services, escort services, or any form of sexually oriented material.
- Gambling, betting, or wagering.
- Illegal activities or products prohibited by law or regulation.
- The sale or promotion of controlled substances, weapons, or counterfeit goods.
- Campaigns that violate Stripe’s or Paypal's Restricted Business Policy or any applicable financial laws.
Glow reserves the right to remove any campaign, community, or user account that, in our sole discretion, violates these terms.
Third-Party Links and Sharing
Campaign owners and Admins may share their Glow links on social media or other third-party platforms.
However, the presence of a Glow link on an external site does not imply any partnership, endorsement, or association between Glow and that site.
If a campaign or community link appears on a platform that includes adult, restricted, or controversial content, the Admin or user sharing that link must ensure that:
- The fundraising purpose itself complies with these Terms; and
- The link is not used to solicit funds for prohibited activities or to promote adult content.
Glow may remove or restrict any campaign or transaction if traffic sources or usage patterns appear to violate Stripe’s or our own compliance policies.
Compliance with Payment-Processor Policies
By using Glow, you agree to comply with the terms and policies of our payment processors, including Stripe and Paypal.
You may not use Glow in any way that causes Glow, The Glow Foundation, or its payment partners to violate their rules or restricted-business lists.
We reserve the right to share relevant information with Stripe, Paypal, regulators, or law enforcement in the event of suspected misuse or fraud.
Campaign and Community Review and Removal
We reserve the right—but are not obligated—to review, moderate, or remove any campaign, community, or fundraiser that:
- Involves prohibited or misleading conduct;
- Receives complaints or chargebacks suggesting a violation of these Terms; or
- Is deemed by our compliance team to pose reputational or regulatory risk.
Removed campaigns are not eligible for appeal unless sufficient documentation is provided.
Responsibility of Community and Campaign Owners
Each Admin or community/campaign owner is responsible for:
- Ensuring that all funds are used solely for the described charitable purpose;
- Complying with applicable laws and our payment processors Restricted Business Policies; and
- Refraining from using Glow to receive tips or payments for adult content, private services, or any other restricted purpose.
Violations may result in account suspension, withheld funds, or permanent removal from the platform.
Glow encourages users to report any suspected misuse or prohibited fundraiser through the in-app “Report Campaign” feature or by emailing compliance@jointheglow.com.
Privacy and Data Use
Your use of Glow is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Glow, you consent to such collection and use.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in Glow, its software, designs, and content is owned by or licensed to Superglow Inc. This license is personal, non-transferable, and revocable. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any part of Glow.
Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, for security reasons, or if required by law. You may close your account at any time via app settings or by contacting support@jointheglow.com.
Upon termination, your right to use Glow ceases immediately, but The Glow Foundation retains control of all donated funds.
Liability and Disclaimers
Glow and its materials are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Superglow and The Glow Foundation disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Superglow and The Glow Foundation will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total platform fees paid by you in the preceding twelve months.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Superglow and The Glow Foundation from any claims arising out of your use of Glow or your violation of these Terms.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Before filing any claim, the parties will attempt good-faith negotiation for 30 days. Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
Arbitration will take place in Travis County, Texas, before a single arbitrator. Each party bears its own legal fees unless the arbitrator decides otherwise. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, excluding its conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any permitted court action lies exclusively in Travis County, Texas.
